Hello and welcome to the Ringgold Library. I'm Mrs. Diaz. This is my first year at Ringgold Elementary School and in Clarksville, TN. My family just moved to the area from St. Bernard, Louisiana. So I am excited to get to know the Ringgold community and Clarksville in general. In the library students will explore a variety of lesson types and topics. We read stories, practice ELA and Social Studies skills, and learn how to become effective researchers and users of digital media. We also explore Science and Math skills through the use of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) centers. But the best part of the library is finding the perfect book for every reader! I have three previous years experience working as an elementary librarian in Louisiana. I have a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science and a Graduate Certificate in School and Youth Services Librarianship.
