I was born and raised in New Mexico. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education from the University of New Mexico and I received my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I have lived in Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Illinois, and am excited to now be in Tennessee. My family and I are so excited to be here! My husband Nathan, my 13-year-old daughter Kayleen, and my 9 year-old daughter Payton moved from the Chicago suburbs in June. I've taught Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade for a total of 12 years, and I've taught Special Education from Preschool to fifth grade for 7 years.
