A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and transplanted to Clarksville, Tennessee by the US Army, where I served as a Southern Baptist Chaplain for 10 years at Ft Bragg NC, Okinawa Japan, and Fort Campbell KY. Married to Jennifer for 27 years, we have three adult children: Jonathan who is a Senior and studies Environmental Engineering and Applied Math at Purdue University; Lydia who graduated from Lipscomb University in Fashion Design and French, and now is in her second year teaching English in France; and Joanna who is a Sophomore and studies Math and Psychology at Lipscomb University. I enjoy church and Bible studies, reading (the Bible, Christian discipleship books, and John Grisham novels), deer hunting, archery, fresh water fishing, boating, hiking, camping, and spending time with my German Shepherd therapy/service dog, Valor, and our Cavapoo, Pippin.
