Hi there! My name is Sarah Salsman, and I’m thrilled to be starting my 8th year as an elementary school counselor here at Ringgold Elementary—go Eagles! I hold a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in School Counseling, both from Austin Peay State University.

I have the joy of working with our amazing kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade students. Originally from Naples, Florida, I moved to Lawrenceburg, TN at the age of 10. College brought me to Clarksville, and after spending most of my undergraduate and all of my graduate years here, it quickly began to feel like home—especially with my hometown just a short two-and-a-half-hour drive away.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, practicing hot yoga, attending church, and, of course, a little shopping every now and then!
