Welcome to THE greatest grade ever!! I am Tamika Jones and this is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten! I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland. The Army brought my family here over 15 years ago. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Teaching K-6 from Austin Peay State University. I have two vivacious daughters and one brother. I enjoy poetry, art, running, hot yoga, reading, cooking. music, sports, makeup traveling,flowers, Oreos and collecting elephants. My favorite food is pizza and my favorite color is purple. Nothing warms my heart more than working with children and helping them grow. My goal is for your child to develop an appreciation and love for learning through a safe, fun, and positive environment. I look forward to working with you to help your child succeed! The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
